The lights I ordered arrived in very good condition. The groumet that holds the electrical cord in the hole at the base of each gooseneck to protect from abraision was not inserted and were difficult to insert. I found that too much movement of the electrical cord or downward pressure from the edge of the plastic gooseneck cover when bending the neck forced the  groumet out of the hole again. I cut a small section out of the neck cover to remedy the latter issue (see photo). this is a design flaw that can be remedied by making the cord hole round and using a groumet that has a longer insertion area on its back. There is no remedy for the issue with the bottom edge of the neck cover pushing out the groumet other than the one shown in the attached photo or some other way of protectiing the groument. Otherwise, the lamp works as needed with very bright light and I like the easy-to-use on/off switch. Other than the flaw I described, this is an excellent product for my woodturning needs.
